What to expect on your first visit
On your first visit you will need to fill out paperwork, including a health history. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your acupuncture appointment to complete this. During the private consultation, we will review your health issues with you and discuss the treatment plan. We will then move into the community treatment room and find an available recliner to commence treatment. First visits usually take a approximately 75 minutes; follow-up visits will last about an hour.
First Visit Suggestions
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows access to your lower arms and legs for the treatment.
- Have some food about an hour before your visit. Receiving acupuncture on an empty stomach can leave you feeling tired.
Directions to our Clinic
We are located beside Baptist Hospital of Miami, near the emergency room entrance. Turn South onto 87th Court from North Kendall Drive (88th St). 87th Court is a small road one-block West of Galloway Road (87th Ave). We are in the first building on the right, the 9000 Professional Centre, in Suite 214. There are parking lots in both the front and rear of the building. [VIEW MAP]
Cancellation Policy
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. No shows and same day cancellations will be charged $20. Not providing notice of cancellation prevents other patients from coming in at your reserved time slot, and this affects our ability to provide affordable rates.
